Shockingly good quality for the price and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen. Knives feel heavy and handle well compared to my name brand ones. Very convenient that I can stick my other knives on the back of the board as well. Only gripe is the weight of the board itself as pulling the knife directly out (towards oneself) rocks the board but pulling straight up gets rid of the issue. Overall super recommend especially for a starter kitchen.

Great knife set! I was replacing my previous knife set because dull knives = accidents. This was beyond my expectation for the cost and I was really surprised by the high quality. 

The block is such a nice touch because I can also squeeze in my other chef's knife in there. Overall, highly recommend. 

What a steal!

I was hesitating to get this set because I like to have my counter minimalistic and clear, barely a few things and mostly for display. I needed a new set of knifes and considering the quality Italic always offers and went for it and let me tell you, these are not just great sharp heavy knifes, they also look great on my counter. Some guest have told me that my kitchen looks like a display from a kitchen place. Great job again, Italic

Really good knife set

These knives are a steal for the quality they are. Gifted them to a friend as a house warming present, and then got a set for myself because they were so good. Comfortable to hold which I find is the biggest challenge with cheap knives, aside from cutting skills. These are sharp, cut great, comfortable to grip, and attach great to the magnetic holder. 10/10 recommend.

BUY IT!

The Italic knife set is a great way to elevate your cooking experience! The set is priced very competitively at $70 (purchased at $80) and has some higher tier features. All the knives have a full tang with rivets, which means that the knives will be very sturdy and will last for a long time. I mostly use the thicker chef's knife and the paring knife. However, the other knives do have their uses.

One thing I would like improved is the finish on the steel. You can see the grooves made by the cutting machine. If you want a super shiny forged knife you'll need to pay a lot more!

After 3 months I sharpened the chef's knife and it is as good as new! Make sure to take care of your knives!

I love the magnetic board, makes grabbing to use them returning them to storage easier.  Very sharp, time will tell if they dull quickly.  I appreciate the scissors it comes with.

Easy to use and clean

We use these daily and they've stood up to washing in the dishwasher (gasp, I know) when life gets too busy. The scissors at the back are fantastic for cooking. The cerated and chef knife are SUPER sharp. You can't tell here well but we have another knife from Italic sitting on the back end which is magnetic. 

Solid daily knife set

After finally getting rid of my husband's knife set that he purchased from QVC 20 years ago, I went looking for a knife set that would take up less "real estate" on my counters and have less superfluous knives that we never use.  This knife set is it.  Just the knives you need in an attractive setting and knifes are sharp.  I highly recommend!

This is hands down the best quality knife set I've ever owned. For a while I've wanted to purchase better knives, but the prices were much higher than I was willing to pay. When the member deal popped up, I could not pass it up!

The ease and style of the holder is great. Haven’t had problems with the magnets. Using the knives is so much better than our old ones. Like another reviewer , I accidently cut myself!

This knife set replaced a Henckels set I’ve had for years and is super impressive. I love the magnetic board and ease of reaching for a knife when needed. It looks great on the countertop and the number of knives included is perfect. Another good buy from Italic.

These are great kitchen knives. I just purchased my first home and this is my first ever knife set. At home my mom uses Global. They are heavy duty and high quality. They go well with any kitchen design. I love the magnet board. It takes up no space on my counter top.

I bought this set during the Black Friday special, and I’m glad I did. I didn’t own a knife set, only random knives that I didn’t take the best care of. I love the magnetic bamboo display, because it forces me to wash and dry the knives immediately and put them back—hopefully prolonging their lifespan! I’m sure there are better quality (and much more expensive) sets out there, but for a starter, this was just what I needed.

Beautiful Knife set

They're unmarked and without a Country of Origin, so I'm taking Italic's word that they're German-made. They feel very high quality. Razor sharp for effortless cutting. They look great on my kitchen counter. The little scissor holder on the back of the magnetic board is super clutch and a very nice touch. Nice heft to the blade, too, without being too heavy.

Best Knife Set!

Cooking is so much more fun with quality knives! 
These are wonderful. Love that they came with cooking shears. The magnetic holder isn't magnetic throughout, so you need to be thoughtful when putting the knives back, but that hasn't bothered me at all.

I have gotten many compliments on them because of the magnetic stand. Be careful, I did cut myself using them because they are so sharp. I wash them after each use and they have stayed sharp. I have not used any stainless steel cleaner on them, but I bet it would make them shine like new if I did.

The magnetic display case is intimidating at first but I leave it in a corner and have gotten used to it. The knives cut well, are a good weight, and standard sized. I wash them in the dishwasher and they have held up for the past few months

I like the look and size of the magnetic board; not too large and gaudy, takes up the right amount of real estate on the counter. The knives are a decent weight; I have small hands, so they are not too heavy for me as some other sets are. They definitely aren't as high end as other sets, but well worth it at this price point.

This is one of the best products Italic offers. I've had it a few days and so far so good. The magnet is really strong, so to remove a knife, you have to use one hand to hold the base, and one hand to grab a knife handle. The whole thing is taller than I expected, so if you have lower cupboards, measure before buying.

This knife set is fantastic! The knives came out of the box sharp and chop fantastically, and the magnetic wood block is extremely strong - so ther's no worries of anything falling or moving around. Pair these with a good set of flatware and steak knives, and you have everything you need!

Based on some other reviews, I was concerned about the strength of the magnetic wood block but the knives adhere to it perfectly. I will say that the magnet is only from the top of the board to the where the tip of the second smallest knife ends in the picture i.e. you can’t arrange the knives horizontally but I don’t find that to be an issue. The knives themselves are super sharp and so far work great. I bought them during the Thank You Tuesday event so I feel really good about the price as well!

This knife set is excellent.  I love the bamboo holder that keeps them close to hand and beautifully displayed.  They’ve kept their edge over the months we’ve had them, so can’t comment on whether they re-sharpen easily.  The holder is actually big enough to hold another knife or two, but it comes with all the blades most cooks will need. 

The sharp choice. 

Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, clean wood with the magnetic connection, but also cuts surprisingly well. You will need to purchase a knife sharpener on the side though as it's not included. Would be nice to have a knife sharpener & scissor holder in the back.

I've wanted one of this for so long and finally got to order it as it became available. It's a steal since you get both the magnetic wood block and the knives. I used the knives and scissors and they are high quality, as expected.

These knives are just astounding, especially for the price point. They are high quality, incredibly sharp, and are nice to look at given the minimal feel. The magnetic stand for the knives to sit on is also very convenient, and you don't have to worry about them randomly falling off. Give these a try! They are a steal.

Just bought a set of these and I’m loving it so far. I love the simplicity of the set, I’m not a chef, I don’t need 20 knives to fix my meals. These will work just fine.
