After all the rave reviews, got a set of Brooklinen sheets, but was surprised by how thin and see through they were. These Italic sheets are softer and better quality. Have washed them now twice and it is true that it gets softer. Happy with these and looking into extra sets for the guest rooms.

Great value! I ended up getting the tie closure bc the button one was sold out but works just as well! The photo doesn’t do it justice. The fabric is crisp and soft at the same time. Feels nicer than the sheets I got from Parachute. I plan to get matching sheets!

Hotel quality duvet cover at a very reasonable price!  Washes and dries nicely, and feels amazing on your skin.  There are corner tie straps which I like, I do wish the enclosure was zipper and not button though.

It’s bright white (seen here with an italic faux fur blanket). Feels like it belongs at a luxury hotel. A zipper would have been better than ties, but overall, I would (and will!) but it again. I wish it came in a subtle pattern and more colors.

I got this duvet cover to put over the weighted blank I use as a duvet. It's super soft and has gotten softer every wash. If you remove it from the dryer straightaway, it's basically wrinkle free. 

Same quality as the sheets

This duvet cover exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and quality. It looks fantastic in my bedroom and I have gotten multiple compliments about the nice hotel look and feel.

High thread count and careful stitching make for a great night sleep.  The color lasts and has hardly faded over months of use.   The sheets’ high quality has also stood the test of multiple washes with vigor.

The feel of these sheets are divine. I do like how it closes not with buttons which wear out but with ties. I found the buttons usually go out before the sheets wear.

The fabric is heavy and soft after wash.  Can feel the good quality of the cotton.  Nice color as well.  Just some wrinkles after tumble try.  Need some ironing.

Someone told me you spend 33% of your life in bed, so I figured I’d give my bedding an upgrade… So glad I went with this duvet cover. I was going to go with the Brooklinen because my friend had them, but honestly these were pretty much the same thing and at a third of the price. I love the effortless look that it has. Every time I go into bed I feel like a bougie girl burrito. You have to get these. I also love that it came with ties to hold my Buffy comforter in place within the duvet cover. I LOVE EM.

Have been using this for a few months now and can say that it does get softer with every wash! 

Comfy Duvet Cover! 

I love this duvet cover! If you like cotton sateen, this is the platonic ideal, smooth and soft and not too prone to wrinkles (though this is still cotton). 

Other reviewers have noted how pale gray it is and from that I expected even lighter gray than this, haha. If you're expecting almost-white, it's definitely grayer than that. If you're expecting charcoal, it's far lighter than that.

One hyper-specific thought that may be useful to someone: I noted that the king dimensions were smaller than my duvet and I was actually excited for that, but on a relatively tall mattress (I've got a Nectar, 12" tall), on a platform bed, and especially with a white fitted sheet underneath, it's clearly a little under-sized! Better than the crazy overhang I had before, but your mileage my vary.

Beautiful and high quality

I have had the sateen sheets for 3 years and I’ve been obsessed. (it was waaaaaaaaaay more expensive back then btw) 
I finally pulled the trigger and bought the duvet cover and it’s just amazing. Its the perfect cool duvet cover forever changed my sleep impeccably.

Great product, color matches pictures perfectly. The fabric is breathable; you never feel too hot or cold. The only drawback is that the fabric is less "shiny" than the picture suggests, and tends to wrinkle. Nonetheless, worth the price, especially compared to comparable non-sale products you can buy at Macy's or Bloomingdale's.

The color looks luxurious, it feels so soft, not overheating. I've bought Brooklinen with higher price tag, but this feel better.

Researched recreating the hotel bedding experience and found out that The Italic has the connections with the manufacturers who provide for the Ritz and Four Seasons. In depth review of the side by side convinced me to give these a try. The reviews are legit. These sheets are amazing on the touch. I’ve included a close zoom / macro courtesy my iPhone’s macro mode for reference in different lighting. I wish the white was available, but settled on the gray and am very satisfied. FWIW the sheets are wrapped around Ritz pillows and duvets. These are the ones, friends. Snap ‘em up.

I've tried many sheets before but this is the best one

This duvet feels very luxurious and washes nicely. I imagine it will continue to get softer with wear. Our bed feels super cozy with this cover. I do think it keeps us a bit warmer than our previous duvet cover.   One thing I didn't realize when ordering is that it has a tie closure instead of buttons. Normally I shy away from tie closure duvets, but this one stays closed and looks really nice (you can see how the tied end looks in my picture. The color is a true dove grey. 

I do think the packaging was pretty wasteful - the duvet and pillow cases came in bags made of the same fabric that I have no use for and those were inside of plastic. Wish Italic had saved that fabric!

I got this along with the puff down alternative comforter. It secures the comforter via ribbon knot and feels breathable. The only thing is it's pretty wrinkly but I personally do not care.

When we upgraded our bed to a king from a queen, we knew we had to get these sheets again. They’re fantastic quality & so soft!

This duvet cover feels luxuriously soft. It feels neither too cold nor too hot. We live in a desert climate & this can work year round for us. 

Soft & luxe 

This is thick high-quality cotton fabric.  Feels very luxurious.  No thread coming out of the seams.  It even has ties on the inside corners to attach the insert.  I will buy this in another color

I absolutely love the feel of this duvet. It really does feel like the sheets & duvets at expensive hotels. I actually like the tie closures rather than a zipper or buttons (which is how duvets are closed at said hotels). Calling the color "gray" is a bit misleading imo. Like someone else commented, this is a very "cool" gray color -- "silver" seems like a better descriptor to me. The color doesn't work with my decor but I'm keeping it anyway because it's so comfy! Crossing my fingers that Italic comes out with other warmer colors in the future.

Comfy silver duvet 

The material is super nice, and it feels like I'm waking up from a hotel bed that's so lush and comfy every day. Reading up on dimensions for duvet covers, even though this one is smaller then the actual duvet inside, it actually makes the blanket more fluffy and looks really nice (minus this photo, I've been using it and was too lazy to fluff it nicely for the photo lol)

Feels like I woke up in a hotel!

Replaced my whole bedding set because I wanted something crisp and white. The pricing for Italic's sheets/pillowcases/duvet was so appealing and I am SO happy that the quality is even better than I was hoping for. My expectations were high but now I slide into bed every night and wake up every morning thinking about how much I love this bedding. It's been 4 months and I love them every day.

Luxurious feel 

I was a bit concerned that the sateen "shiny-ness" would be a bit too much and would make it look un-necessarily fake and plastic-like. The sateen finish is quite elegant and well done. I love these and will be buying another set for laundry day!

Better than expected

I ordered this duvet for our guest bedroom and was completely blown away! It is INCREDIBLY soft and luxurious. It really is just as great as way more expensive alternatives from companies such as Frette. I'm in the process of redecorating our master bedroom, and will definitely plan on ordering a duvet for our own bed once I have a better idea of what the room will look like. At this price point -- you can't go wrong!
