I LOVE this tea pot. As a daily tea drinker, having something that is sturdy without being heavy is a godsend; the lever and handle are both covered in a heatproof material meaning no burning your fingers to get the kettle off the stove. The color adds the sweetest vintage feel without sacrificing a strong, contemporary silhouette. One of my favorite finds from Italic so far — my only regret is that I don’t think I’ll ever need to buy another one!

I love this kettle. The color reminds me of the 80s/90s.. You don’t see it much anymore now that we live in a world of neutral colors. The kettle is adorable because it works its way into the scream. It gives you a bit of time to tend to it, before it yells like a train whistle (I’m exaggerating).. The best kettle I’ve ever purchased. The handle is amazing as well, in the way that the spout opens when you squeeze. I adore this little contraption. 10 out of 10 recommend

This tea kettle is amazingly functional and also large and beautiful.  I am Deaf and have trained my dogs to come herd me to the kettle when it whistles, since I  cannot hear it. They didn't respond when I tried it out yesterday for the first time, but we'll work on it. No oven mitt needed for this.

Great kettle you can leave out 

I love my kettle.  It looks great in the stove for decor as wel.  Of course it functions as expected.  
Time will tell how long it lasts and if it will rust!  Some small imperfections on the bottom rim but not enough to return.

Love this kettle. I was concerned initially that the handle would get too hot to hold because of a couple of the reviews, but I am not sure what caused that issue for others because its never been even warm after getting the kettle to a whistling boil temp. Wish there were a couple other colors because the light blue is not my style and I would maybe have done something other than the green which is a little teal in person, but still great quality and happy with it.

Heats up fast, helps make great tea. I like that it's an old school kettle and it looks like nice sitting out on the stove top. Really tough too as I've accidentally dropped it/knocked it off the counter a couple times and it looks as new as the day I got it.

I love this tea kettle because (1) it is absolutely darling in the light blue color and (2) the silicone handle means I can pour without an oven mitt, which I need to use with my All-Clad kettle. Love it!

We love this kettle, it's easy to keep clean and hasnt rusted or discolored like other kettles we've owned. The quality is definitely there!

The quality feels so great- I never owned any fancy tea pots before so I can't really compare, but it definitely feels expensive! It whistles loud when it's ready, and has a large capacity so I can make a lot of tea. Been using it for about 5 months and it's still great! 

Best tea pot I've owned

Bought this for my mom. She loves it and uses it every day! Says it is really comfortable and the right weight (not too heavy or light). The hunter green looks really cute in our kitchen.

I’ve owned a lot of tea kettles, so I know what I like and what I don’t like. This kettle hits the mark in every way. First of all, it’s absolutely adorable. The light blue version is the perfect milky shade that looks great on my stove, and the steel is shiny and sleek looking. In terms of function, it has a pleasant, soft whistle, and you can actually grab the handle (which has a comfy grip) to pour the water. Highly recommend to my fellow tea drinkers!

I'm picky and I love it!

Love the kettle.  As great as it looks. The whistle is the best part.  It's asserive without being imposing.  It lets you know your water is boiling without the pitch being too annoying.  

With other pots, the whistle made me panic. Like - "Oh no, better get the kettle before my ear drums explode and my neighbors call the cops." But this is a polite "darling, would you please come to the kitchen and take me off the heat?" 

I'd buy this again as a gift.  This is sure to last a lifetime.

I love this tea kettle! The color, shape and whistle make me happy every time I use it. The only flaw is a small scratch on the green that shows the stainless steel beneath.

A truly beautiful kettle. (That’s why I bought it.) It’s a little larger than I imagined, which probably doesn’t matter if you live in a large home, but looks a little off in a small one-bedroom.

I really like how solid this kettle is, as well as the color. I was worried about it being too light colored, and was afraid it might discolor, but I’ve used it very often and have had no issues yet!
